Refund Policy

Transparent refund terms to ensure your confidence in our services

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method within:

7-10
Business Days
from the date of refund approval

Note: The actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider's processing time.

Our Commitment to You

At Emizhi Digital, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital services. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have designed our refund policy to be fair and transparent. This policy applies to all our services including web development, mobile app development, digital marketing, and consulting services.

Refund Eligibility

Full Refund (100%)

If you cancel before any work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit minus a 5% processing fee to cover payment gateway charges.

Partial Refund (Pro-rated)

If work has begun, refunds are calculated based on the project stage. The eligible balance is calculated as: amount you have paid minus the value of work already completed.

  • 0-25% complete: 75% refund of your eligible balance
  • 25-50% complete: 50% refund of your eligible balance
  • 50-75% complete: 25% refund of your eligible balance

Example: If you paid ₹50,000 deposit and 20% of work (worth ₹20,000) is complete, your eligible balance is ₹30,000. At this stage, you would receive 75% × ₹30,000 = ₹22,500 refund.

No Refund

Refunds are not available once the project is more than 75% complete, after final delivery, or after client sign-off/approval of deliverables.

Refund Method

Original Payment Method

Refunds will be credited to the same payment method used for the original transaction. This includes credit/debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, or UPI.

Alternative Methods

If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method such as bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/SWIFT).

Service-Specific Refund Terms

Consultation Services

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation session has been conducted. Cancellations made 48+ hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations within 24-48 hours incur a 50% fee. Cancellations less than 24 hours before are non-refundable.

Development Projects

Refunds for development projects (web, mobile, software) are calculated based on completed milestones as outlined in the project agreement. Any third-party costs (domains, hosting, licenses) are non-refundable.

Retainer & Subscription Services

Monthly retainer payments are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel future billing periods with 15 days written notice before the next billing date.

Digital Marketing Services

Ad spend paid to third-party platforms (Google, Meta, etc.) is non-refundable. Management fees may be partially refunded based on work completed during the billing period.

Non-Refundable Items

The following costs are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Third-party software licenses and subscriptions
  • Domain name registrations and renewals
  • Hosting fees paid to third-party providers
  • Ad spend on advertising platforms
  • Stock images, fonts, or other digital assets purchased
  • Payment gateway processing fees

Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, you may raise a dispute within 7 days of receiving the refund decision. We encourage resolving disputes through:

  1. 1 Direct Communication: Discuss concerns with your project manager or account representative
  2. 2 Escalation: Request a review by our management team at support@emizhi.com
  3. 3 Mediation: If unresolved, both parties may agree to third-party mediation

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.
